Signalscape is lookingfor an FPGA designer with Digital Signal Processing (DSP) skills. This positionwill work in a fast-paced environment developing performance-critical customnetwork interface hardware. Working in a small team environment you will beempowered to innovate creative solutions to ensure customer success. Thisposition requires an understanding of the FPGA design process in creatingspecifications, preliminary and critical design reviews, test plan generationand system integration and test.

• Develop FPGA customhardware resources to develop Software Defined Radio (SDR) transceiver systemsand solutions.
• Simulate the FPGA to verify performance, then integrate and testthe FPGA on the circuit card assembly.
• Experience with integrating SDR components into systems andsupporting the testing and delivery of these systems.
• The workload will be predominantly FPGA but some tasking (10-15%)would be related embedded firmware.

Requirements

• BS Degree in electrical/computer engineering
• Three years FPGA integrating DSP algorithms
• Three years digital system design experience
• One year of embedded Linux design experience

Preferred

• Experience with and understanding Xilinx Spartan6 family of FPGA architectures
• Experience designing and implementing DSP modem algorithms for SDRsolutions
• Proficiency with Xilinx's Vivado development tools to generateFPGA designs
• Programming Xilinx embedded code for Zynq, Microblaze, and Zynq processors
